Networking that really works. We meet every Friday morning at the Kings Arms Hotel, Melksham. Some serious business gets passed and they’re a great bunch of people to be with.

Another great networking group that meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month at the Bear Hotel, Devizes. Again some great business gets passed between members and they’re also a great bunch of people to have breakfast with.

Meets every other Thursday morning at Bailbrook House in Bath. Another great bunch of people, good breakfast and good business gets passed

Sackful of Sovereigns
I mentioned I played with a folk rock band on the “Who is?” page. This is they! We’ve been going since 1996 had four line-ups, got five CD’s out and are presently looking for a new fiddle player and percussionist.

If you need anything recording then this is the place to go. Whether it’s studio based or mobile they’ve got all the kit and they produce a really great sound.

The Wiltshire School of Gymnastics
I was a trustee of this children’s charity up until recently. In 1998 it was a small gym club (originally formed in 1975) with 100 girls meeting two or three times a week in the local sports centre. Today it has it’s own 1 million pound purpose built gymnasium (thanks to lottery funding), has over 1000 kids a week through it’s doors, has gymnasts in the regional and national squads and hosts the English National Gymnastics Championships and other major competitions every year. Not bad for 10 years.
